DVD Authoring

We define DVD Authoring as the process of assembling video, audio or other data to be recorded onto an optical disc (typically a CD, DVD, or Blu-ray disc). The end result is a product that can be played on a DVD player or computer.

This process can involve:

  • Designing interactive menus
  • Inserting title and chapter markers to navigate the disc
  • Creating a ‘master’ disc for duplication

DVD Authoring is not just limited to movies and TV shows, it can also be used for:

  • Video presentations
  • Delivering information via an interactive experience
  • Creatively archiving family movies
